26th April 2003 Windsurfing: borth Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: strong till i got there Surf / Sea State: rolling swell Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Left home at 11 so didn't get to borth till 2,two kites out plus al and steve haveing a good time so rigged up and had one good run and back got wet and hay presto the wind went.hung around ,though a masive shower but gave up waiting for the wind to return at 6.30.derigged and packed up just in time for it's return to blow a hooly all night,so as you can guess i was pretty anxious for a good day sunday.Sunday arived at lifebout station to find 5m weather ,rigged up and and gues what ,you got it wind dropped,rigged 6m ,one run out agian just on plane and ending down wind with a walk back. A really frustrating weekend,that just did not workout for me,but well worth it as the sun shone with out a cloud in the sky all day on sunday as it rained at home,so all was not lost.Roll on may day weekend for another attempt. |
